Camping de Luxe sur l'Eau
Our exceptional houseboat is moored in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, overlooking Lake Saint-François. It’s ideally located for exploring the St. Lawrence River and the famous Thousand Islands region, from Kingston to Lake Ontario.
If you prefer, head in the opposite direction via Montreal or up the Ottawa River to visit the entire Rideau Canal via the nation’s capital, Ottawa.
We also offer the possibility of delivering the boat on other waterways, subject to a minimum two-week reservation.
Built by Quebec-based Daigno, the Le Koroc houseboat is sure to delight outdoor adventurers. The little floating home measures just 8.53 m x 2.62 m (28 x 8.6 ft.), but it’s packed with clever features, offering everything you need to make the good life on the water.
Constructed mainly of cedar and sustainably-sourced plywood, the 2,558 kg (5,640 lb) boat floats secured to three aluminum pontoons, and is powered by a 90 hp Honda BF90 VTEC outboard, while roof-mounted solar panels linked to accumulators provide electricity.
The deck is equipped with three swivel seats, a sonar system, a dashboard with navigation instruments, a barbecue and even a hammock stretched over the water to help you relax after a hard day’s fishing, kayaking, swimming, sailing and more.
Inside the cabin, you’ll find a dining area, a seating area that converts to a double bed, and a kitchenette with a two-burner propane stove, sink, refrigerator and plenty of storage space. Outside, the bimini top cleverly transforms into a waterproof tent measuring the equivalent of a queen-size bed with doors and windows. To make your luxury camping experience exceptionally pleasant, the Koroc is equipped with heating, air conditioning and a PS 4 audio system with Bluetooth.
